People often interchangeably use the words restoration and enhancement. The terms are different but closely associated when
speaking of repairing a damaged photograph. Restoration is a process provided to repair a damaged or faded photograph.
Enhancement is used as part of that process to help bring out the detail.
The business of Creativestore.com is to restore your memories by helping to bring an old, dull or yellowed photo back to life.
Through digital and image manipulation, your pictorial treasures from the past will become family treasures for the future.
Pricing is determined on a photo-by-photo basis. We carefully review the extent of the damage to your photo and provide an
estimate as to the cost of the restoration process. When you confirm that you want us to proceed, we will then begin to digitally
restore your photograph.
We offer the following photo services:
Photo Restoration:
There are three primary levels of work involved in Photo Restoration. When completing the Photo Restoration Information form,
please choose the level that best indicates the type of work your photo will require. If you are not sure, contact the photo team
about outlining the work needed and we will gladly give you a soft quote. In order to fairly quote a project we would have to actually
see the photo(s) that is in need of restoration.
Basic Restoration entails minor restoration and manipulation in addition to
standard digital treatment involving eliminating scratches, cracks, spots and stains.
Moderate Restoration could consist of repairs more involved and difficult than those in the basic realm. This would include more
highly detailed repairs to all or parts of the image such as tears, creases, stains, scratches and markings on the original photo.
Major Restoration could involve background changes, replacement of missing parts of the image, repair of unusual cracks, creases
and stains or removal of persons or objects in the photo.
Colorization:
Colorization is a process that restores (to the best of our ability) original color to your cherished photograph. Please remember
to specify the color desired for skin, hair, eyes, clothing, background, etc. Be descriptive! All photos being colorized must first
be restored at the prices listed for restoration. Price may vary according to the number of persons or items in the photo to be colored.
Each photo submitted will be evaluated prior to the restoration process.
Prices are approximate.
